Prepare yourself for prettiness, okay? Chasing Aurora is a new project by Broken Rules, and it’s an “explorative 2D aerial action game about the dream of flight.” That’s good to know, actually, since the title makes it sound like a lightly comic novel of sexual awakenings set on the hippy trail in Northern California. Yuck.
Broken Rules made And Yet it Moves, of course, so expect cleverness of all kinds as this one develops. I first read about the game over on The Curiosity Magazine, but it’s been doing the round everywhere because, well, look at it. Thermals ahoy.
What’s it coming out for? How does it work? Will I be able to buy hats? The answers are probably on the Chasing Aurora dev blog (and you probably won’t be buying hats). I don’t really want to know about any of that stuff just yet, though. For now, I’m happy watching the video over and over again. Look at that elk!
