Okay, okay, you’ve already seen this, but just in case… Minecraft update 1.8.2 is coming to the Xbox 360 version on 16 October. That’s tomorrow if you’re reading this tonight. It’ll become available at 2am PDT or 10am in the morning in the UK.

The update finally adds the creative mode, which should allow Xbox owners to match their PC pals for wide scale construction genius. There are also new mobs, new foodstuffs and improved combat mechanics. We’ll have a more in-depth look soon.
