Indie Game: The Movie Coming to HBO?
American TV network HBO has optioned darling of the Sundance Film Festival, Indie Game: The Movie – a video game documentary by first-time filmmaking duo Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky – for a potential television series spin-off.
The film – available on DVD and to download later this year – charts the emotional journey of Edmund McMillen and programmer Tommy Refenes as they await the release of their first major game for Xbox, Super Meat Boy, developer Phil Fish as he unveils his highly anticipated, four-years-in-the-making FEZ and Jonathan Blow as he considers starting work on his follow-up to smash... read more
