Have you played Trials: Evolution recently? Holy crap. It’s amazing.

I, like many others, gorged myself on Trials Evolution goodness, reached a level of frustration that felt like the wrong edge of sanity and consequently trotted off to pastures new. The Trials Evolution community, meanwhile, they didn’t go anywhere. Apart from space, prehistoric times, over the backs of dragons… all that good stuff.

We’ve trumpeted the power of RedLynx’s Trials Evolution editor, but to see it harnessed by a dedicated community is nothing short of mindblowing. In my return visit to the finnish home of motorbike physics I jetted through zero-g space, entered a dragons lair and dodged his fireballs and wove our way through motorway traffic in a police chase.

There are slight issues for journeymen motorcyclists such as myself returning to have a snoop, if you haven’t unlocked all the bikes in the game then there are some amazing creations that’ll be locked off to you. Likewise don’t expect to be treated nice by many track creators, who can no doubt bunnyhop backwards, upside down and inside out with the flick of a thumbstick and expect you to do the same.

Any quibbles about difficulty spikes as you rev your way through a perfectly reimagined Aperture Science laboratory, or career your way through a Haunted Mansion complete with runaway ghost trains, track direction double-bluffs and mind-boggling level tilt should be jettisoned on launch. This really is a fantastic meeting of minds.

If you, like me, left Trials Evolution a while ago then you’ve got miles and miles of user imagination to bundle your way through. Don’t just listen to me though, lock your big, beautiful eyes on this:
